Ingredients
1 teaspoon Lipton tea
360ml boiling water
3 teaspoon of honey
juice of 1/2 lemon
5g Ai Yu Powder (gelatin made from the seeds of a jelly fig. (it costs $12.72 from Jiang-Nan Chun, tel: 6831-7220)
Method
- Pour 180ml boiling water onto tea leaves, then stain.
- Put 1½ teaspoon of honey, juice of ½ lemon and Ai Yu powder together. Stir till it melts. Pour into bowl and set in refrigerator.
- Boil pear in 180ml of water with 1½ teaspoon of honey till soft. Leave in regrigerator to chill.
- To serve, scoop jelly with metal spoon into another bowl and top with pear.
