Chocolate Chiffon Cake

Ingredients A:
165g plain flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 egg yolks
45ml corn oil
1 tbsp Rum
90gm sugar
90ml ice water
chocolate paste

Ingredients B:
9 egg whites
150gm sugar
1 tsp cream of tartar

Methods:
1. Preheat oven at 160 deg. C for about 15 mins, sift flour and baking powder.
2. Mix egg yolks with sugar and add in the corn oil, ice water, salt, sifted flour and rum.
3. Beat the egg whites with cream of tartar for a while and add in the sugar, slowly beat till fluffy white and stiff, mix in the flour mixture (i.e. ingredient A) and mix it well. Slowly stir in the chocolate paste as demonstrated.
4. Pour the mixture into an ungreased tin (10 or 11 inch mould). Bake in oven for about 45 to 60 minutes.
